Becuase it is a rigorous test this test will only be administered, in this form, to PeeWee and above players. A modified version may be administered to Squirts and under but mostly to help track improvement over the season and from season to season.
This test takes two minutes to administer, and multiple players will be assesed at the same time. Two minutes are put up on the rink scoreboard which is started at the beginning of the first sprint. Players are also hand timed in completing a goal line to goal line, and timed back to origional zone blue line sprint. The player then has what remains of athe first 30 seconds of the scoreboard clock timer to rest. Thus, at 1:30 on the scoreboard clock they start their second sprint (also hand timed). The player repeats four sprints, using the entire two minutes. [Note: This is easier to understand watching the video].
